MHIRJ donates $15,000 to the 色盒直播鈥檚 Aviation Maintenance Program. FAIRMONT, W.Va. 鈥 MHI RJ Aviation Group (MHIRJ) is donating $15,000 to the 色盒直播 Foundation, Inc. at 色盒直播鈥檚 annual career fair on April 24, 2025, at the Robert C. Byrd National Aerospace Education Center.

The 色盒直播 Foundation provides program-specific scholarships and emergency funds to assist students in need. This donation will directly benefit 色盒直播鈥檚 Aviation Maintenance Technology Program, providing tuition scholarships, covering FAA certification fees, and developing the program.

“Investing in the future of aviation is about equipping the individuals who will sustain its progress. This donation goes beyond just supplying scholarships; it aims to nurture the next generation of skilled technicians. By supporting their development, we contribute to a safer sky and ensure that our aircraft continue to soar,” said Jonathan Clarke, Head of service centers at MHIRJ.

MHIRJ provides comprehensive critical operational, engineering, and customer support solutions, including maintenance, refurbishment, technical publications, marketing, and sales activities for the global regional aircraft industry. With a substantial workforce in West Virginia, MHIRJ contributes significantly to the local economy. It has expanded its facilities to support a broader range of aircraft, reinforcing its commitment to the region as a key hub for aviation services.

MHIRJ鈥檚 donation adds to the $5,000 already donated at the Aviation Elimination Dinner.

色盒直播 Foundation Director Kathy Hypes said, 鈥淲e deeply appreciate MHIRJ’s generous donation and continued support, which will benefit our Aviation Maintenance Technology program and its students. Their support is invaluable in providing opportunities and empowering the next generation of aviation maintenance professionals in NCWV.”

MHIRJ is also one of many companies set up at the annual career fair, providing job placement opportunities for 色盒直播鈥檚 Aviation Maintenance Technology students.

鈥淣ationwide, there is a shortage of aircraft mechanics. Partnering with a large industry representative goes a long way to fill the gap between the demand and supply of technicians,鈥 said Dr. Brad Gilbert, Director of Aviation at Pierpont.
