Prof. Andrea Wamsley-Barr is the program director of the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Pierpont.聽 She聽native of North Central WV, and obtained her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Training from West Virginia University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the MGH Institute of Health Professions.
Wamsley-Barr is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She worked primarily in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings prior to beginning her career in academia.
